A warm welcome in the heart of Newton Abbot

Deo Gloria Coffee is an independent coffee shop on Bank Street, created as a place to enjoy great coffee, homemade cakes, relaxed conversation, and genuine hospitality.

Whether you are meeting a friend, taking a quiet break, working for a while, or visiting with little ones, our aim is simple: to make you feel welcome.

Here to serve coffee, comfort and community

Deo Gloria Coffee was created with a heart for hospitality. More than a place to grab a quick drink, we wanted to build a café where people could slow down, feel comfortable, and enjoy being part of everyday life in Newton Abbot.

From the beginning, our focus has been on simple things done well: good coffee, homemade food, friendly service, comfortable seating, and a space that feels open to everyone.

We believe a great café should do more than serve drinks. It should give people a reason to pause, connect, and feel at home.

A welcoming town-centre space

Located on Bank Street, we are easy to reach, easy to find, and designed to be a comfortable stop in the middle of town.

A genuine local welcome

Our team cares about creating a friendly, thoughtful experience — the kind of welcome that brings people back.

Room to relax

With comfortable seating, sofas, Wi-Fi and charging points, Deo Gloria is made for lingering, not rushing.

Family-friendly by design

We welcome parents, carers and children, with space for little ones and a relaxed atmosphere for everyday family visits.

Hospitality is in the details

For us, hospitality is about noticing what makes people comfortable and making the café feel easy to enjoy.

We want Deo Gloria to feel like a gentle break in the day — somewhere you can sit, breathe, chat, read, work, or simply enjoy a good cup of coffee.

A space for real life

Parents, friends, workers, regulars, visitors and community groups all use cafés differently. Our space is designed to support those everyday moments.
